A petal flew away and landed there, in the grass… A huge colored petal, this installation is between art and design. Pétale, this long wooden platform covered with a thermochromic paint*, takes place in a parc. To settle there is to participate in its history by leaving a colored trace of its passage.
Colored poetry, the user participates in the ephemeral and incessant metamorphosis of the object.
In a non-virtual reality where touch is important: you have to touch to see all the magic of Pétale, a technical magic that takes up the fabulous skills of some natural species.
*thermochromic paint: technical paint which, at a certain temperature, becomes transparent. It allows to discover the color or the material underneath.

Un pétale s’est envolé puis s’est posé là, dans l’herbe… Immense pétale coloré, cette installation se situe entre art et design. Pétale, cette longue estrade de bois recouverte d’une peinture thermochrome*, vient prendre place au cœur d’un espace vert. S’y installer c’est participer à son histoire en y laissant la trace colorée de son passage.
Poésie colorée, l’utilisateur participe à la métamorphose éphémère et incessante de l’objet.
Dans une réalité non virtuelle où le toucher est important : il faut toucher pour voir toute la magie de Pétale, une magie technique qui reprend les fabuleuses compétences de certaines espèces naturelles.
*peinture thermochrome : peinture technique qui, a une certaine température, devient transparente. Permet ainsi de découvrir la couleur ou la matière se trouvant dessous.
